First thing that people should know when they have a broken mercury thermometer is not to attempt to repair it or touch the mercury. Follow the steps in removing the hazardous material and air the room. Still, it was quite surprising to find someone still using a mercury thermometer.

We rented a place in Seattle and were stunned to find our boiler faulty too. Now thanks to your handy guide, we can fix it up ourselves without having to go to war with our landlord to get our heating.

Sorry! I think the cluttered graphic design and obsessive recording of Cambridge politics gives me that impression, but I really rely on his site.

Thank you for looking into this, Brenda. I remain committed to protecting and preserving our environment and make it a priority to use the highest amount of recycled and post-consumer paper whenever possible. Thanks very much for your kind words and support!

One of yours is the only 100% post-consumer paper. (I assume the glossy isn't 100% recycled, right?) Leland Cheung's is 50% recycled, 30% post-consumer. Davis, Marquardt, Nolan, and McGovern all have little recycled symbols but no more info. That's it.

Thanks Brenda for doing this experiment for us. Looks like a combination of palm cards being dropped off and stuff sent in the mail. You and your housemates are definitely a targeted voters! and yes you should ding Denise for the plastic bag. How many of the flyers used post-consumer recycled paper?
